We get request for one-on-one counseling at Watkins Jail, and currently we aren’t able to fulfill all of them. The guys really appreciate getting these visits, and they are rewarding for us volunteers. Why do they want a one-on-one visit? There are many reasons. They may be in a pod that doesn’t have Catholic services. Or they may want to talk more in depth about the faith, and their problems, than they can at the larger service.

Welcome to the updated You Visited Me website. The website is exclusively for the Catholic Diocese of Phoenix Jail and Prison Ministry volunteers at the Maricopa County Watkins Jail. This website was previously used for the Lower Buckeye Jail, but, since we no longer serve at that jail, it has been updated to be used for Watkins Jail.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any news for you about when we will be able to return to services at the jail. This post is to update you about the Kolbe Mission, the new Kolbe Mission website, and an upcoming concert to support the Kolbe Mission.
