Welcome to ‘You Visited Me’!

Welcome to the new ‘You Visited Me’ website! This website is exclusively for the Catholic Diocese of Phoenix Jail and Prison Ministry volunteers at the Maricopa County Lower Buckeye Jail. I think the primary thing you will be interested in at this site is the Summary Table, which you can use to see which pods have had Catholic services recently. This is useful to those of you who volunteer in pods that are served by different volunteers on different days, so it will help you determine which pods need a Catholic service.

There is some additional information which may be useful to you:

1. There is a list of all the volunteers with emails and phone numbers. You can use this if you are looking for someone to substitute for you, or you need to contact other volunteers for any reason. This page is password protected, and I have let you all know what the password is.
2. There is a table showing the schedule of all the time slots allotted to the Diocese for religious services. This is just if your curious when other volunteers are at the jail, and where they are.
3. We can use this site to post blogs that will then remain at the site and be available for referencing. This could be information or news about the jail, inspirational events that occurred to you, something that you think would be useful to all the volunteers. I don’t really expect much blogging on this site, but you are free to if you wish. Let me know if you want to do a post, and I will give you instructions. It’s very simple.
4. There is a page with general information about the jail that may be useful to new volunteers.
